Lite information

Jag vill bara meddela läsekretsen att jag de senaste dagarna fått ett ovanligt stort antal mail och att det därför tar sin tid att besvara dem. Jag har av olika, fysiska och psykiska, skäl svårt att hinna med i vanliga fall, men just nu prioriterar jag min hälsa och vardag, och först därefter den digitala närvaron. Försöker dock nu efter bästa förmåga uppdatera bloggen med relevant information om situationen. Medan jag skriver detta håller SÄPO presskonferens och berättar om ett konkret terrorhot mot vårt land. Allvaret i det är förstås ett bidrag till min allmänna syn på det politiska läget. Eller som Bernard-Henri Lévy uttryckte det: Vi befinner oss i krig.

Jag tar tillfället i akt att visa ett budskap från bandet EODM, som spelade på Bataclan när islamisterna slog till. Bandmedlemmarna klarade sig, men flera personer ur deras krets dödades, inklusive engelsmannen Nick Alexander. Jag tycker att deras hälsning ger en bild av hur skeendet nu ser ut för de drabbade.

While the band is now home safe, we are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France. Our thoughts and hearts are first and foremost with our brother Nick Alexander, our record company comrades Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, and all the friends and fans whose lives were taken in Paris, as well as their friends, families, and loved ones.  

Although bonded in grief with the victims, the fans, the families, the citizens of Paris, and all those affected by terrorism, we are proud to stand together, with our new family, now united by a common goal of love and compassion.  

We would like to thank the French police, the FBI, the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil. All EODM shows are on hold until further notice.
